What is Arrow Tag?

Imagine the thrill of archery combined with the excitement of dodgeball and the strategy of tag—this is Archery Tag! It’s a high-energy, team-based game that’s safe, inclusive, and incredibly fun for students of all ages. Here’s how it works:

The Basics of Arrow Tag

  • Safe Equipment: Players use specially designed bows and foam-tipped arrows, so there’s no risk of injury. Safety masks are provided for everyone, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience.

  • The Game: Think of it like a mix of dodgeball and archery. Two teams face off in an arena, aiming to tag out their opponents by hitting them with the foam arrows.

  • Objectives: The goal is simple—tag as many players on the opposing team as possible without getting tagged yourself! Players can also catch arrows mid-air to bring back tagged-out teammates, adding a layer of strategy.

Why It’s Perfect for Schools

  • Curriculum-Aligned: Arrow Tag isn't just fun—it's educational! The game promotes physical fitness, enhances hand-eye coordination, and teaches teamwork and strategic thinking, aligning perfectly with PE curriculum goals.

  • Inclusive & Accessible: The game is designed so that anyone can play, regardless of their athletic ability. Every student can participate, contribute to their team, and have a great time.

  • Active Learning: Beyond just physical activity, Arrow Tag encourages students to develop skills in communication, cooperation, and problem-solving—all while they’re having a blast!

Tailored to Your Learning Goals

  • Customized Learning Outcomes: We understand that each school has unique educational goals, and we’re here to support them. If desired, our Arrow Tag sessions can be tailored to include specific learning elements that align with the outcomes you’re aiming to achieve in your PE program.

  • Integrated Instruction: Our instructors can incorporate teaching moments throughout the sessions, reinforcing key concepts such as teamwork, strategic thinking, or specific physical skills.

  • Teacher Collaboration: We’ll work with your teaching staff to ensure the session complements your curriculum and enhances the learning experience for your students.

The Evolution Archery excursion was fantastic! All of the kids & Educators had the best time – the kids were so engaged, right from the kindergarten children all the way up to the 12-year-olds. You made it so fun & easy to learn.

We are so grateful that you could visit our OOSH service, as it is sometimes quite difficult to find incursion facilitators that will travel to us, being in a rural area. We will definitely book you again & recommend your service.
